The building: the history and the present The Corona d’Oro, with its 40 rooms, is a true Boutique Hotel located in the heart of Bologna, a short distance from Piazza Maggiore and the two towers, one of the best-known symbols of the city. The building that hosts it tells a story that starts from the thirteenth century, century of its construction that is represented today by the external portico, passes through the Renaissance, of which remain the splendid frescoed coffered ceilings, and arrives to the Belle Epoque, shown by the large glass dome overlooking the hall and that, once opened, turns it into a particular internal courtyard. We know very well how customer service is a distinctive element and one of the main factors in the choice of a structure: practicing active listening and taking action every time with flexibility and attention are the heart of our way of being and interacting», adds the director.
