Planetaria Hotels

Italian Group founded in the mid-90s, it immediately distinguished itself with a “sartorial” and innovative style of hospitality which makes the stay of its guests unique

Since its entry into the hotel world, over twenty years ago, the Planetaria Hotels Group distinguished itself with a sartorial style of hospitality that focuses on services that are highly refined to the smallest detail and that are able to transform every place in a unique one, in the heart of the most beautiful Italian art cities such as Milano, Genova, Firenze and Roma, or in remote, evocative locations such as the ancient village of Trezzo sull’Adda. Each hotel of the Group, whether it be a historical building or a contemporary structure, is perfectly inserted in the urban context in which it is located and aims to convey to the guests a warm sense of welcome.

An award-winning hospitality
A philosophy of hospitality that has paid off, since Planetaria Hotels received the Positive Business Award, the recognition of the Scuola di Palo Alto, the main non-academic Italian Business School, created to reward those “positive” companies that innovate, distinguish themselves, and grow together with their resources. The prize was won in 2014 for the ‘Travelling Experience’ category, for the ability to offer new experiential formats able to make the customers dream and travel with their imagination, and in 2015 for the ‘Positive Business Sustainability category, for the special “green” project linked to eco compatibility.

The hotels of the Group
The Planetaria Hotels structures in Italy are nine, all four and five stars. In Genova, around Piazza Principe, next to the Porto Nuovo area, distinctive neighbourhood of Genova with the Acquario and numerous attractions, the Group is present with the Grand Hotel Savoia and Hotel Continental. The first is a 5-starluxury hotel inside a prestigious, late nineteenth-century palace: a very impressive, refined, and exclusive environment, where you can still breathe the atmosphere of the Belle Époque. The second is an elegant 4-star boutique hotel in authentic Art Nouveau style.
Four are the structures in Milano. Who searches for enchanted and romantic atmospheres will appreciate the Château Monfort, a 5-star hotel in a historical building of the early twentieth century by the architect Paolo Mezzanotte, located in the prestigious neighbourhood Monforte, a reference for the world of fashion and design. For those who love a contemporary hospitality in the heart of Milano’s nightlife, the answer is the 4-star superior Enterprise Hotel, first design hotel of the city, located in Corso Sempione and characterized by ample spaces and sophisticated environments. Adjacent to the new EXPO area and at a short walk from Fieramilanocity, is the Milan Suite Hotel, a 4-star hotel with an atmosphere inspired by the East. For those who want more independence, Planetaria proposes Residenza delle Città, one and two-room flats near Stazione Centrale, designed to live the city in total freedom and autonomy. In Roma’s EUR area, the Group is present with the Hotel Pulitzer, 4-star hotel with chic-contemporary style, with artworks and decorative elements inspired by the ’70s.

Two exclusive locations
The Group, finally, has two boutique hotels that can be rented exclusively for large-scale events: Best Western Villa Appiani in Trezzo sull’Adda and Ville sull’Arno in Firenze.
Villa Appiani is a four-star structure that occupies an eighteenth century mansion in the heart of Trezzo sull’Adda, evocative medieval town situated between Milano and Bergamo. The Villa maintains intact the charm of a noble patrician house, reinterpreting it in a modern way through the choice of sophisticated colours that recall the fluvial environment that surrounds it, through the furnishings and design artworks that enrich its interiors, and the numerous available services to make the stay even more enjoyable.
River, nature, and history also characterize the lovely complex of Ville sull’Arno, three mansions, with the core that dates back to the ’400, surrounded by a poetic garden on the Arno. This boutique 5-star hotel, very close to the historical heart of Florence, is an ideal location for meetings, business meetings, and team building, thanks to the beauty of the landscape where it is located, which conveys peace and quiet, favouring maximum concentration. Particularly evocative are its spaces, including: La Serra d’Inverno, an ideal corner for small meetings; the restaurant Flora&Fauno, with a veranda and an outdoor swimming pool to treat yourself to a relaxing break by looking at the Arno. The spa of the hotel, finally, is a special environment where youcan restore body and soul through a wellness program with caldarium, experience shower, chromo therapy, Terracqua cabin (even privately), Rasul cabin, hot tub, ice waterfall and candlelit relaxation.
