Since the 18th century Palazzo Isolani welcomes you to the beauty of Bologna
In the heart of Bologna an ancient residence, today dedicated to prestigious events and meetings, rises next to two delightful bed & breakfasts whose rooms face the iconic monuments of the city
We are a few steps from the renowned Due Torri, symbol of Bologna: here there is Palazzo Isolani, a sumptuous eighteenth century residence that has wonderfully hosted receptions, cocktail parties, gala and corporate dinners in its richly frescoed halls for some years: an authentic landmark for the city and for the region. Palazzo Isolani is opened the whole year and it offers in total 700 square meters of space divided in 9 halls on the ground floor, and other 250 square meters in the old basements. Everything is under the wise leadership of the “Isolani meeting”, the society funded right by the descendants of the noble house of Isolani.
This year Mice offer includes Casa Isolani, charming bed and breakfast whose rooms are allocated between two wonderful residences in Via D’Azeglio 1: Casa Isolani D'Azeglio 1, on the first floor, and Casa Isolani Piazza Maggiore on the second floor, both owned by the family Cavazza-Isolani. With a total of 12 large rooms, furnished with style and elegance, restored respecting the past and a few steps from the main monuments of the city, amidst the famous Towers of the Asinelli, the Garisenda Tower and Piazza Maggiore. Moreover, in the immediate surroundings guests may visit the historical Mercato di Mezzo, recently restored and returned to citizens, a lively place where visitors may taste typical cuisine, buy top quality food and live the authentic Bolognese food experience, until late night. Palazzo Isolani building offers a comfortable common living area, furnished with sofas, relaxing and breakfast areas, panoramic terrace.
On the highest floor of Palazzo Isolani there is the extremely scenic Altana double room: its four windows offer lightning and a panoramic 360° view on Bologna. The Santo Stefano room, indeed, is split in two night areas, and offers an enchanting view on Piazza Santo Stefano. The second night area, with a third bed, is under a gracious attic facing a shared terrace. The Suite Notai is ideal for those who look for an authentic apartment. It is situated in via D’Azeglio, it has two large bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it is ideal for a splendid and comfortable family sojourn. Clients may also book the rooms separately (Re Enzo and Del Podestà): a master bedroom and a double room with single beds. The rooms are united by a passageway, but they have independent entrances and each one has a bathroom.
