Kempinski Hotels has appointed earlier this year Tomislav Hrala as the cluster director of sales and marketing at stunning five-star properties in Slovenia and Croatia
A seasoned professional with over ten years of experience, Tomislav Hrala grew his career with Malik Voyages in Tunisia, and Melia Hotels & Resorts Croatia. Prior to joining Kempinski, he held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Vienna International Hotels & Resorts in Croatia.
He left his previous position in Opatija after accepting an interesting change in his career path, following his desire to pursue other opportunities. After three years of successful service in Portorož, Tomislav has accepted the challenge to further strengthen the reputation of Kempinski Hotel Adriatic Istria, Croatia, on the market.
The two properties are the jewels of Croatian and Slovenian Istria’s coast, both providing outstanding facilities and luxury service. The location of the Northern Adriatic itself is stunning, and the most alluring charm of the Istrian region lies not only in its cultural-historical dimension and beautiful landscapes, but also in its diverse attractions and activities’ offer as well as rich and authentic gastronomy. Adding five-star hospitality to this context, both properties present an ideal venue, not only for holiday travellers but also for weddings, private and social gatherings, and business events.
Located in the charming and vibrant town of Portorož, the marvellous and historical Kempinski Palace Portorož will strike you with the unique architectural blend of traditional and contemporary design and its glamorous grand ballroom, favoured by many MICE travellers.
The concept of contemporary Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, the first Croatian five-star golf and spa resort, is to offer a serene getaway blended into a picturesque countryside setting with breathtaking panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, and with facilities that reflect a warm Mediterranean feel and contemporary character.
The driving force behind Tomislav’s sales ambition is to further position both hotels as the leading destination for MICE travellers by delivering the promise of excellence to clients and partners and to promote Istria and support the continuous growing trend of Croatian and Slovenian tourism
